About Ian
I provide one-to-one wellbeing and personal development support drawing on psychology, health, human performance, and practical life experience.
Clients often describe me as approachable, easy to talk to, and able to help them gain clarity and perspective. I also understand pressure personally — rebuilding after setbacks, navigating demanding seasons of life, and recognising when something no longer fits.
I take a holistic and personalised approach to wellbeing and personal development. Work, relationships, health, lifestyle, confidence, stress, recovery, purpose, and performance are often more connected than they first appear. Rather than working from a single model or technique, I draw upon a breadth of knowledge and experience to support each person in a way that reflects their individual circumstances, priorities, and goals.
I hold an MSc in Occupational Psychology and have worked across psychological wellbeing, neurodivergent support, personal training, behaviour change, resilience, and performance-focused environments, including work psychology roles within government settings. This breadth of experience allows me to integrate psychology, health, wellbeing, and human performance in a way that is both evidence-informed and practical.
Before this, I served as a Royal Navy Physical Training Instructor, where I learned that resilience and performance grow best when people feel supported, understood, and steady under pressure.
Qualifications matter, but so does something less tangible: calm presence, practical insight, and the ability to help people find clarity when life feels noisy, heavy, or uncertain.
That matters.
